Syed Eqbal Alam, Ph.D.
Founder & Lead Scientist
Dr. Syed Eqbal Alam is the Founder and Lead Scientist of SheQAI Research. He leads the development of AI tools for researchers and the underlying agentic-AI research that makes them possible — bridging academic research and applied product engineering.
His work spans privacy-preserving AI, distributed optimization, and multi-agent systems, with applications across research communication and industrial monitoring.
Before founding SheQAI, he completed postdoctoral research at the University of Alberta and the University of New Brunswick. He earned a Ph.D. in Information and Systems Engineering from Concordia University (Montreal), co-supervised by professors at Concordia and Imperial College London.

Every community video on Scholar Reels is backed by a human attestation — the author’s own, or a PhD-holding researcher who confirms the video presents the paper’s claims correctly. We’re building a public roster of these reviewers, with their fields and institutions, so the people behind the trust badges are visible.
