All submissions are reviewed. Submission does not guarantee inclusion. Community videos appear on ScholarReels after moderation.

Video submission policy — requirements for both paths
  • You submit with an institutional email (university / research institute) — your account email, or a verified institutional address linked on your account page.
  • You submit either as an author / co-author of the paper (with your co-authors' permission), or — for an openly licensed paper you didn't author — as a qualified researcher (a PhD, or a track record of peer-reviewed publications). Either way you attest, under your name and affiliation, that you have watched the video and its claims are faithful to the paper.
  • Every submission — uploaded or rendered with TeX2Vid — is confirmed via a link we email to your institutional address before it reaches the moderators. There is no shorter path for a video made with our own tool (neutrality policy).
  • A qualified reviewer (a researcher with a PhD or a record of peer-reviewed publications) is required by default, on every video format (Short, Highlight, Video Abstract) — unless your own verified standing (a PhD and/or publications in reputed venues) or the paper's venue (a Q1/Q2 journal or an A*/A conference, where your own certification stands in its place) already carries the credential. Name them (name + institutional email); they receive a one-time link and, by clicking it, confirm they reviewed the video and that the paper is scientifically correct and rigorous. Venue standing is taken as a reference from SCImago (journal quartiles) and CORE (conference tiers).
  • A moderator reviews and approves every submission before it appears.
